How to take a leave of absence

It’s common to consider taking a leave of absence at Harvard College. 

Harvard College's leave of absence policy gives you flexibility in your academic path. A leave of absence allows you to take an indefinite pause from studies to pursue other opportunities or priorities before returning to complete your degree. On average, 235 students a year take a leave of absence.
